Fun in the Sun

Not to rub it in or anything, but we have been having unbelievably gorgeous weather for December. Decembers 2006 and '07 our good friend Titus spent here with us and one of the overwhelming memories of both those visits was the COLD COLD weather. But so far this Dec. has given us chilly nights and beautiful sunny days. Friday was no exception and we helped take the children from the orphanage on an outing to the zoo. Below are three of my favorite pictures from the day--backwards because dumb blogger once again switched them up on me!

By the end of the day ice cream and a rest in the shade were in order.
The giraffes are one of my favorites--they are beautiful animals, they are always out where you can see them, and they seem happy even if they aren't in the wild.
The whole group

Oh, and I just had to paste in this picture of Mic and her little friend Bless playing together in a cardboard box during their last playdate...too cute.
